Finasteride decrease the concentration of dihidrotestosterone in prostate and blood also, reduce the sizes of gland and clinicals manifestations of adenoma, increase the urinary flow with the object of reducing the dimension of prostate and reduce the symptoms of hyperplasia.
The effect (result) of Finasteride is settled down gradually, during few months, but remains the next two years after the treatment is stopped.
